Need to become a Journalist...??

Do I really want to become a ‘Journalist’…??

Why..? What I’m going to do there actually..??

I really don’t know.

These are the questions passing through my mind for last some days, weeks and months or may be a year or two…! I really want to become a journalist and I really don’t know for what; I don’t think this is a great confusion of my life where there is a girl in my class says “you know, I’m living with a lot of confusions in my life for last 22 years.” Here the joke is ‘she is just 22year old’ and her confusions might be started since the first day of her in this earth.

I’m living in a country with largest democracy where people still suffering from poverty and illiteracy after sixty year of independence from British colonialism, political scams and corruptions (e.g. cwg, 2g spectrum) keep on growing day by day, feudalism and exploitation are persists, each and every hour a ‘Dalit’ women getting raped, discrimination between people in terms of cast and religion exists, honour killings increasing per hour, states fighting for natural resources, teacher’s hand get chopped by preparing question paper and says that disrespect the religion, social activists need to close their mouth to avoid sue of sedition, RTI act killed 19 social activists, transgender are exploited on behalf of disbelief, people living in naxalism zones with bravery, 74% of population live in 638,365 different villages, 4th most populous urban agglomeration in the World “Mumbai” and country growing with great economical strategy (8.9 GDP rate & 4.16 trillion dollars GNP rate 5^th in the world), IT, outsource, Military & Defense , development and agriculture and more. Yes, this realization and understanding about my country and its situations guide me to journalism.

Now the time is arrived to take a decision on my specialization. Yes, it is Television journalism; I have to have a strong hand with non-tremble fingers and powerful voice for that….!!!
